York Excavating Company, as a Design Assist Partner, worked direct with the developer for approximately 12 months, budgeting schematic designs, while offering their expertise and value engineering ideas on critical design elements associated with this project.

As a result of these design assist efforts, York Excavating Company ultimately worked with the developer through a site prime contract to develop the site of this new multi-pad commercial project. Project scope included installation & maintenance of erosion & sediment controls, clearing, mass grading, significant offsite disposal of excess excavated material, segmental block retaining wall systems, sanitary sewer and water main installation, stormwater conveyance, site lighting, fine grading and pouring of concrete curbs, fine grading and installation of concrete & asphalt stone bases, pouring of rigid concrete pavement and sidewalks, asphalt paving, completion of significant PennDot roadway improvements, traffic signal modifications, installation of landscape plantings, permanent seeding, sod and installation of various site amenities such as bollards, fencing, guiderail, line painting and signage.
