York Excavating Company, as a Design Assist Partner, worked direct with the developer for approximately 8 months, budgeting schematic designs, while offering their expertise and value engineering ideas on critical design elements associated with this project.

As a result of these design assist efforts, York Excavating Company ultimately worked with the developer through a site prime contract to construct the initial infrastructure phase of this new multi pad commercial project. Project scope included installation & maintenance of erosion & sediment controls, clearing, mass grading, drilling & blasting of rock, segmental block retaining wall systems, sanitary sewer and water main installation, primary electrical pathway installation, site lighting, stormwater conveyance, installation of urban soil cell assemblies and cast in place pass through planters, fine grading and pouring of concrete curbs, fine grading and installation of concrete & asphalt stone bases, pouring of rigid concrete pavement, asphalt paving, completion of significant PennDot Roadway Improvements, installation of landscape plantings, tree grates, permanent seeding, sod and installation of various site amenities such as bollards, fencing, guiderail, line painting and signage.
