York Excavating Company, as a Design Assist Partner, worked directly with the developer for approximately 8 months, budgeting various schematic designs, while offering their expertise and value engineering ideas on critical design elements associated with this project.

As a result of these design assist efforts, YEC ultimately worked with the owner through a site prime contract to develop the site of this retirement community expansion. Project scope included installation & maintenance of erosion & sediment controls, clearing, mass grading, drilling & blasting of rock, sanitary sewer and installation, installation of pump station, wet well and associated forcemain, stormwater conveyance, fine grading and installation of concrete & asphalt stone bases, pouring of rigid concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, installation of landscape plantings, permanent seeding, sod and installation of site amenities such as fencing, line painting and signage.
